Application Developer

The WSSC IT Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team maintains and supports operation of 23 FileNet applications and 7 Datacap applications, integrates with 3 other systems (GIS, Oracle EBS, and eBuilder), and also implement 4 ~ 6 projects yearly. A new consultant will join the ECM team to work on application support tickets, perform application enhancement and project implementation as a developer. Duties / Responsibilities Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university majoring in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. b. General Experience: At least ten (10) years of professional job-related experience with a bachelor’s degree or eight (8) years with a master’s degree. c. Specialized Experience: At least 7 years of hands-on experience with FileNet v.5.x development and administration, including but not limited to: a) IBM Content Navigator (ICN) and custom plug-ins. b) P8 APIs and java application customization. c) Workflow Process Design and Process Administration. d) P8 subscription and event actions. e) P8 ACCE. f) FileNet Deployment Manager (FDM). g) Installation, upgrade, patching, and configuration of FileNet P8 (CPE, CSS, Case Foundation), IBM Content Navigator (ICN), etc. h) SQL, java script, etc. Knowledge and hands-on experience with Datacap v.9.1.x, including but not limited to: i) Datacap Task Master and Task Master Web. j) Datacap RuleRunner. k) Datacap Navigator. l) Datacap Studio. m)Scan and Datacap workflow. n)OCR. o)Integration with FileNet. p)Installation, upgrade, patching, and configuration of IBM Datacap (TaskMaster, Rule Runner, Task Master Web), etc. Knowledge and experience with SQL Server and Oracle database. d.Skillset a.Taxonomy development. b.FileNet. c.Datacap. d.J2E framework. e.System design and architecture diagrams. f.Verbal and written communication. g.Problem-solving. h.Multi-tasking. i.Team collaboration. j.Critical thinking k.Task execution leadership Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Front-end development: 1 year (Preferred) CSS: 1 year (Preferred) Angular: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Laurel, MD 20707 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Laurel, MD 20707: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Laurel, MD 20707
