The resulting creation of wealth will grow opportunities for all.Duties and Responsibilities:Projects a positive imageGreets all guests and team membersSchedules team members to ensure excellent level of service to the guests while maintaining and controlling labor costs; Understands and manages within budgetary guidelinesAuthorizes PTO and administers payrollSupervises team members including maintaining proper employee relations and recognition, evaluating performance and administering discipline when necessaryRecruits Front Service staff, screens applicants and conducts auditions for employmentActively coaches, mentors and develops team membersEnsures AAA Four Diamond service standards are being met consistentlyProvides AAA Four Diamond service levels necessary to meet and exceed guest expectationsKeeps staff informed of pertinent informationLiaises with other departments as operational issues ariseSupports front line staff in dealing with guest problems and concernsAssists front line staff as necessary with parking and retrieving vehicles, delivering luggage, etc.Ensures that claims are minimized by staff's adherence to established proceduresLimits the number of accidents and injuries by actively promoting job safetyAssists in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment (OS&E)Assists in the development and training of departmental policies and proceduresOther duties & responsibilities as assignedJob Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or olderAssociate's Degree in Hotel, Business or Related field- requiredOR Two (2) years' Supervisory experience- requiredOR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department– requiredOR Two (2) years' experience in the hiring position's Department- requiredMust successfully pass a timed math skills test- requiredGood writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered) - requiredExperienced with Microsoft Office and other hotel related softwareMust successfully pass job interview, including a guest service auditionMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbsWilling to work odd and irregular hours including holidays, weekends, and nights (3rd shift)Outgoing, friendly, helpful personality and positive attitude is requiredMust be able to stand and walk for entire shiftBe able to run when parking and retrieving vehiclesMust be able to endure outside elements/conditions – heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.Any DUI conviction within the last three (3) years will disqualify any applicantAbility to safely operate both manual and automatic transmission vehiclesMust be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environmentAble to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc.Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's licenseMust be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness testWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this positionMust have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environmentNATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMESComplaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.J-18808-Ljbffr
