Cath Lab Technologist in Reno, NV
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Exciting opportunity for a skilled Cath Lab Technician with expertise in imaging to advance your career in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position is based in Reno, NV, and offers a chance to work with a diverse range of cardiac procedures including diagnostic studies, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), electrophysiology (EP), device implants, and some structural cases.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures
Assist physicians by providing high-quality images to facilitate accurate diagnoses and treatments
Monitor patient status and support the sterile field throughout procedures
Manage inventory and maintain catheterization lab equipment according to safety standards
Respond to on-call assignments including weeknight and weekend coverage as scheduled
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
One weeknight call per week (14 hours)
One full weekend call every two weeks (Friday through Sunday)
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech with strong imaging skills
Knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent attention to detail and adherence to sterile techniques
Certification as RCIS or equivalent preferred
