We commit to building bridges across cultural, racial, religious, and economic boundaries.Position: Resiliency Center – Resiliency Navigator Reports To: Manager of Resiliency CenterPurpose: This role supports community members through direct service, case management, and resource navigation. It also involves building partnerships, organizing outreach efforts, and supporting the overall mission of United Way of El Paso County (UWEPC), particularly within the Center for Resiliency.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesResource NavigationConduct holistic assessments, crisis intervention, and case management for community members.Provide referrals and connect individuals to relevant services, ensuring warm hand-offs and follow-ups.Keep resource directories updated and maintain accurate records of clients and services.Assist clients with paperwork and documentation required for program eligibility.Cover El Paso Helps and other platforms as needed.Work from assigned site as needed.Able to manage a caseload of 60 to 80 cases.Other duties as assigned.Outreach and ProgrammingOffer services in accessible community locations considering transportation, hours, and language needs.Create safe, welcoming environments for those seeking help.Organize and lead community events in collaboration with local agencies and stakeholders.Represent UWEPC at conferences, forums, and meetings.Track and report service usage, impact data, and financial contributions (e.g., donations and grants).Community PartnershipsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of community programs and services.Build and sustain partnerships with service providers and community organizations.Facilitate strategic collaborations and meetings to assess community needs and coordinate responses.Advocate for UWEPC’s initiatives and research new programs aligned with its mission.Community EngagementCollaborate with internal UWEPC teams to support community outreach.Promote UWEPC at community events and act as an ambassador for the organization.Foster relationships with businesses and individuals to increase community support.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in social services, public health, communications, nonprofit management, or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.At least three years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.Knowledge of nonprofit operations is essential; experience in grant/program/case management is preferred.Flexible schedule, including potential evenings and weekends.Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance.Applicant should have experience working with vulnerable communities that face challenges related to employment, housing, education, or mental health, and should ideally possess specialized expertise in at least one of these areas.Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).Experience with case management systems preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex ideas clearly.Background check required.Job Classification: Temporary/Non-ExemptSalary Range: $40,000 - $42,750Original AdFields of studySociology / Politics / AdministrationOtherHealth / Care managementRequired degree levelBachelorYears of experience3 - 5 years of experienceSalary range$40,000 - $42,750 per yearRequired languagesEnglishSpanishSkills and CompetenciesBrand StewardResults-DrivenCollaboratorMission FocusedRelationship-Oriented
