As we target 4x growth over the next four years, you'll have unprecedented opportunities to take on new challenges, develop cutting-edge skills, and grow your career across our expanding global operations.Join our team of innovators and help shape the future of sustainable data centers while building a career without boundaries.Key AccountabilitiesOversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilitiesProvide leadership, management, and development ensuring operational commitments are met and exceededSupport SFCFS teams and other stakeholders in the delivery of all services within the scope of the role, and provide shoulder to shoulder technical service input as required in order to enhance the credibility of the companySafety of all SFCFS personnel and equipment onsiteOwnership of MEP operations across Serverfarm Data CenterEnsure that all MEP plant and distribution infrastructure is operated and maintained in a safe manner, to best industry practice and within manufacturers recommendationsWork with the Construction & Project team to ensure Serverfarm Data Center’s site meets all required statutory and mandatory requirementsEnsure all site MEP infrastructure operates within defined capacity standardsEnsure all activities on site are carried out in accordance with Serverfarm Company Policies and GuidelinesRequired SkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial roleExperience in maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteriaAn understanding of the Data Center environment, and the working restrictions applicable to such environmentsFamiliar with the use of Microsoft Office applicationsGood communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work under pressure, with changing, and often conflicting, priorities to meet deadlinesDesired SkillsBachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering Serverfarm is committed to providing an equal opportunity workplace and offers paid time off, paid holidays, 401k and FULL coverage medical, dental and vision.
