Full job descriptionDrone OperatorReports to: Drone SupervisorWage $24.00/hr Full TimeLocation: In officeCertification Needs: Must currently have a valid FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107)About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and certified Security Drone Operator to join our drone operations team. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge unmanned aerial systems (UAS) to protect client assets, respond to security incidents in real time, and provide aerial intelligence that empowers our ground teams. If you are FAA-certified, technically proficient, and passionate about applying drone technology to real-world security challenges, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesSurveillance & Patrol — Conduct scheduled and autonomous patrols over critical infrastructure, venues, and private property to detect intruders and identify safety hazards before they escalate.Incident Response — Deliver live aerial intelligence during security incidents and emergencies, providing real-time situational awareness that guides on-ground personnel to rapid resolution.Equipment Management — Perform thorough pre-flight checks, routine maintenance, and diagnostic assessments on drones, cameras, and data docking stations to ensure mission readiness at all times.Data Analysis & Reporting — Analyze live footage and recorded data for anomalies, including tracking suspicious activity, documenting suspicious and criminal activity, and generating detailed incident reports for stakeholders.Regulatory Compliance — Ensure all drone operations strictly adhere to FAA regulations, applicable safety protocols, and relevant privacy laws, maintaining accurate flight logs and documentation.Requirements & QualificationsLicensing — FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) is required.
