QA/QC Technician

We are a rapidly growing, progressive company dedicated to hiring and developing a highly skilled, diverse, engaged workforce to meet and exceed the client's needs.TechServ offers a competitive benefits package including health, vision, life, and dental benefits, 401K with an excellent company match, training and development opportunities, and paid time off.Duties & ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & Control: Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for engineering designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.Design Review: Conduct thorough reviews of engineering designs and documentation to identify potential quality issues, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve design processes and methodologies to enhance quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of QA/QC activities, including design reviews, test results, and compliance reports.Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, project managers, and other departments to address quality issues and ensure that design specifications are met.Training & Support: Provide guidance and support to engineering teams on QA/QC best practices, standards, and tools.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs and engineering practices adhere to relevant regulatory and industry standards.Required Qualifications Experience: Proven experience in QA/QC engineering or design roles, with a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and design principles. Or have experience as an Engineering Technician II and/or a Trainer with TechServ.Skills:Proficiency in design and engineering software (e.g. client specific software including- DDS, GDT, Agis)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Knowledge: approximately 3-5 years of design experiencePhysical RequirementsWork is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipmentProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and standingAlternate between sitting, standing, and moving about the office to access office equipment.The ability to view a computer screen for extended periods, requiring good vision or corrective lenses if neededMust be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 15 pounds at a timeAbility to handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner at all timesReports to: Project ManagerWorking environment: Routine office environmentJob Type: Full-time, Hourly Non-ExemptTravel: occasional travel may be required based on project demandsLocation: Tyler, TexasSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00; occasional overtime may be required based on project demands#TS25Alternatively, you can apply to this job using your profile from Indeed by clicking the button below:
