The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, experienced in gymnastics instruction, and confident leading both staff and athletes in a fast-paced, family-focused environment.This position is ideal for a long-time competitive team coach who is ready to transition out of a full-time coaching schedule while remaining an integral part of daily gym operations, program growth, staff development, and athlete success.This role does not include regular weekly coaching hours as part of the standard schedule; however, actively coaching classes or teams may be needed at times based on program needs, staff coverage, events, or special circumstances. For candidates interested in retaining a limited active coaching schedule, that option is open for discussion.Primary Responsibilities:Recreational Program LeadershipProvide hands-on floor monitoring and coach trainingOversee staff and overall floor operations dailyReview and update recreational lesson plans monthlyMaintain and update recreational coach training resourcesLead monthly recreational coach training meetings, or additional meetings when necessaryCreate, monitor, and adjust class schedules as neededEvent ResponsibilitiesCreate routines for recreational and team programsTeach routines to coaches and assist with routine preparationAssist with showcase planning, décor, logistics, and event flowBe onsite during events to help manage staff, gymnasts, and the overall experienceContribute fun, creative, and engaging ideas to enhance existing events and create new onesTeam Program LeadershipManage and train team coachesConduct and lead parent meetings as neededPlan and attend outside team eventsPlan in-gym team events, fun days, and team-building activitiesPrepare gymnasts for showcase and performance eventsManage team staffContinuously scout and help grow team programs, including maintaining and increasing pre-team enrollment and options as neededStaff Leadership & OperationsMake coach hiring and termination decisionsManage staff schedulingConduct regular coach evaluationsManage staff disciplinary actions when necessarySupport a positive, professional, and motivating staff cultureIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have:Strong gymnastics coaching experienceUSAG Competitive team coaching experienceExperience leading, training, or mentoring coachesStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to manage both recreational and competitive/team programmingA positive, energetic leadership styleA passion for developing athletes, coaches, and program cultureAbility to work evenings and weekends as neededCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $60,000+ per yearSchedule: Full-time, 35-40 hours per week401(k) + 401(k) Mathcing: Eligible to participate in company retirement plan with up to 5% employer contributionHealth Insurance: Eligible for 100% company-sponsored health insuranceProgram Bonuses: Bonus opportunities tied to Recreational and Team program performance, showcases, and competitionsEquity Opportunity: Future opportunity to earn shares in the corporation based on performance and tenure
