PCB Layout Engineer

We believe that when people feel a sense of belonging, they can be more creative, innovative, and thrive at all points in their careers.ResponsibilitiesDesign complex, 30+ layer PCB with multiple high density BGAs using Cadence AllegroBuild symbols, develop stackups, prescribe pin swaps, import netlist and constraints, familiar with Cadence CM front to back flowCheck peer designs and library symbolsTake input from and negotiate changes with electrical and mechanical design engineers during developmentInterface with suppliers to resolve manufacturing related issuesQualificationsAdvanced Cadence Allegro skills; familiar with CAM 350, OrCad or comparable toolsExperience with mixed signal high speed digital 100MHZ to 53GHz, 54G to 224G, PAM4Experience with design rule checks (DRC), layout versus schematic checks, and library managementKnowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT)Experience with DDR2/DDR4/DDR5 DRAM, 2+ Gbps serial interfaces, LVDS, split power planes, impedance control and matched trace lengthsFamiliar with fabrication and assembly processes and materials4+ years of experience in PCB designKnowledgeable of electronicsWilling to adjust current practices to conform to company standards and methodsCommitted to accuracy, quality and meeting commitmentsStrong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in EnglishCareers Privacy StatementKeysight Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
