Assembler

AssemblerThis position is responsible for assembling and packaging sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products. The Assembler will ensure that all products meet prescribed quality standards through visual and tactical inspection of all in-process products. Rotates through all the tasks required to complete the assembly process for sterile medical devices and non-sterile medical and commercial products. Communicates with the supervisor to determine daily work assignments. Inspects components for defects, and communicates known issues with the supervisor. Operates machinery such as pallet wrappers, sonic welders, riveters, heat sealers, etc. Operates and/or monitors manual and automated packaging machines. Sorts and inspects packaged products to ensure they meet prescribed quality standards. Performs testing of finished products. Follows Standard Operating Procedures, and adheres to quality, cleaning, safe work practices, and GMP standards. Completes all required paperwork and inputs production data into production software. Maintains a clean workspace. Performs additional tasks as needed.
