The duties of this role will include performing clinical functions as directed by the provider in the clinic.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompletes patient assessments, including vital signs and pre-examination procedures with appropriate medical equipmentDocuments objective and subjective data and assessments in the patient recordAssists the providers in all aspects of the consultation, treatment, procedures, and follow-up careProvides patient health counseling and instruction, including meeting with families and caregiversCompletes medication reconciliation, management, patient compliance, inventory, educationEnsures regulatory compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA guidelinesProvides excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, and caregiversThe position may include triage of calls for urgent appointments, referrals for patient consults and testing, insurance pre-certification, and documentation.Required Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesGraduate of an accredited nursing programAn active and in good standing Registered Nurse license in the state of practice1+ year of clinical nursing experienceCurrent BLS certification through the American Heart Association valid for at least 90 days after start dateProactive MD is firmly committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, genetics, marital status, amnesty status, or veteran status applicable to state and federal laws.
