HEAP Processor

Pro Action is accepting applications for two (2) full-time, temporary HEAP Processors. The HEAP Processor is responsible for determining client eligibility for the Home Energy Assistance Programs, maintaining compliance with program requirements, processing payments, managing client records, and providing administrative and customer service support. This position works closely with clients, vendors, utility companies, and community partners while maintaining strict confidentiality and ensuring accurate documentation and data management. Ideal skills Strong organizational and basic math skills. Communication and language skills. Strong computer skills with basic knowledge of Excel Microsoft office and other office equipment such as copier, scanner, fax, etc... Ability to interact with customers from a variety of backgrounds and with different levels of management. Capability to apply common sense of understanding to carry out instructions in written and oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related work experience. A background check will be conducted.
