Service Writer / Service Advisor

About Us: Express 80 is a busy and growing truck and trailer repair shop. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented person to handle invoicing, customer service, and light inventory management. If you’re comfortable using a computer and can learn quickly, we’ll train you on our shop software. Responsibilities: Prepare and process customer invoices using shop software. Create service orders and add labor/parts used in repairs. Record payments and ensure accurate billing. Help with inventory management: receive parts, enter items into the system, and keep stock organized. Add new parts and maintain accurate records. Answer customer calls, provide updates, and support the front desk. Communicate with mechanics and management to ensure invoices are accurate. Perform light office/admin duties as needed. Qualifications: Comfortable using a computer (data entry, typing, navigating software). Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized. Good communication skills with both customers and coworkers. Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-stress work environment. Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn. Previous experience in invoicing, service writing, or auto/truck shop work is a plus but not required — we’ll train the right candidate. Schedule: Part-time or full-time, on-site.
