Travel RN - Telemetry - Intermediate Care

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit position requiring PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.Job Details• IMC (Intermediate Care/Step-Down) unit in a hospital setting,• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM,• Every other weekend coverage required; unit will direct weekend assignments based on operational needs,• Bedside cardiac monitoring for up to 8 patients,• Floating required to Telemetry and/or Med-Surg units as needed (float unit ratios are 1:5-1:6),• Equipment used includes ultrasound IV, cardiac monitoring, and lift equipment,• 13-week contract,Job Requirements• Active MD or Compact RN license required,• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,• Minimum 2 years of PCU, IMC, or Step-Down RN experience required,• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section,• 2 supervisory professional references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply,• Caribbean blue scrubs required; scrubs are not provided,• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application,• BSN credentials, if applicable, should be included
