Quality Technician - Early Shift - 3-Day Weekends (4x12 Schedule)

This position is critical to ensuring product quality, food safety, and compliance standards are met at every stage of production.Our 4x12 schedule is designed to give you more flexibility and balance-while still earning full-time hours and even double pay for hours >50 per week!Schedule: Early Shift (4x12s)Monday - Thursday: 2:00 AM - 12:30 PM3-day weekends (Friday-Sunday)*Overtime may be required on Fridays or weekends (up to max 8-hour shifts) based on production or sanitation needs - voluntary basis first!*Training Period:Hands-on training to ensure confidence with systems, processes, and quality standards before transitioning to nights.2-4 weeks on 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM / 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMWhat You'll DoPerform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished goodsCollect and prepare samples for third-party laboratory testingCalibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation (pH meters, titrators, Brix/density tools, etc.)Communicate quality data and provide guidance to production teamsEnsure all documentation (MMRs, logs, test records) is completed accurately and in real time following Good Documentation PracticesSupport audits from regulatory and third-party bodiesConduct environmental monitoring and testing programsFollow and enforce all quality standards, including GMPs, sanitation practices, etc.Assist with calibration programs and customer complaint investigationsCross-train to support full quality coverage across shiftsSupport team operations through hour flexibility/overtime as neededPerform all other duties as assigned by leadership What We're Looking ForRequired:High School Diploma or GED2+ years of Quality Control experience2+ years of laboratory experience with instrumentation (pH meters, titrators, Brix/density, etc.)Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Outlook/OfficeAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishMust be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work overtime and weekends as neededMust operate with a high sense of urgency and accuracy. This role requires real-time testing, documentation, and immediate response to quality deviations. Delays, missed details, or incomplete documentation can impact product quality and compliance.
