Estimating Manager

Our client is seeking an Estimating Manager to work on complex high-rise condo and multifamily projects across Florida.Responsibilities: Project Evaluation:Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand the scope of work and client requirements.Conduct site visits to gather relevant information for accurate cost estimation.Cost Estimation:Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.Utilize estimating software and tools to develop accurate and comprehensive estimates.Adjust estimates based on project location, market conditions, and risk factors.Bid Preparation:Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals within the required deadlines.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights.Ensure all bids comply with company policies and client requirements.Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination:Solicit and review bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project specifications.Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors and subcontractors.Risk Management:Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project estimates and develop strategies to mitigate them.Monitor changes in project scope and adjust estimates accordingly.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs.Prepare and present detailed estimate reports and summaries to senior management and clients.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Proven experience in estimating and bidding on commercial construction.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
