The company's services and products are available on notable marketplaces like Microsoft and Oracle, solidifying their reputation as leaders in the data and AI domain.Job SummaryThe Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer / Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions. This role requires deep expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and enterprise IT operations.The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in AWS and/or Azure environments, strong scripting and automation capabilities, and a proven track record in managing large-scale enterprise infrastructure systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS and/or Microsoft Azure. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation. Build and manage automation scripts using Python, Ruby, or Go for cloud operations and workflows. Monitor, maintain, and provide operational support for cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance. Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for infrastructure issues. Manage enterprise infrastructure including servers (physical & virtual), storage, and backup systems. Administer Windows Server and Linux environments including patching, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation. Implement security best practices including IAM, network security, and compliance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions. Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning. Maintain documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures. Minimum Technical QualificationsCandidates must meet the following mandatory criteria:CertificationsOne or more of the following: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certified Kubernetes Administrator Experience Requirements5+ years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools. 5+ years of experience in automation scripting and cloud function development using Python, Ruby, Go, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience supporting and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar). 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, administration, and operations in enterprise environments. 10+ years of experience managing Windows Server and/or Linux systems in production environments. Desirable QualificationsExperience working with State and/or Federal agencies in the USA. Strong understanding of modern cloud architecture patterns, including: High availability Scalability Security Cost optimization Experience with: Serverless architectures Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Hands-on experience with cloud services such as: AWS: EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM Azure: Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts Experience with virtualization technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V. Knowledge of enterprise backup and disaster recovery tools such as Veeam. Experience in patch management and configuration tools such as Tanium.
