Certified Intern Memo Certified Teacher Intern OpportunityEnhance your trade without the stress and overwhelming hours of a teacher by working alongside a Lead Teacher for 80% of the management, attendance and salary. · Lead Teachers have met requirements to mentor! · Lead Teachers need you today!  Interns will have the following BENEFITS alongside Lead Teachers. · 20% reduced worktime per nine weeks that can be taken, with approval of Lead Teacher. o Nine days/ 72 hours off each nine weeks. o No more than five days off consecutively and 4 days off consecutively, not to be taken less than three full weeks apart. o Partial days may be taken conditionally.§ Students will benefit from 50% of time in class spent with TWO certified teachers.§ Lead Teachers will submit a plan each quarter that outlines the time classes spend with TWO certified teachers.o  Sick time will be deducted after the approved 9 days/ 72 hours·       80% of worktime spent with a team to TWO certified educators·       50% of class time spent with a team of TWO certified educators·       Time for developing skills for teaching, communication, grading, collaborating and evolving classroom into the engaging learning spaces we require to move students to proficient.The intern position allows for 20%-80%-50% attendance/ worktime requirements for both the intern and the Lead Teacher
