Software Test Engineer

The Quality Control (QC) / Software Test Engineer role is responsible for establishing and executing testing strategies for an internally developed ERP system while also supporting existing internal software and end users as needed. This position partners closely with application developers to improve software quality, free up development capacity and document systems and processes, with a strong emphasis on automated testing using C# and .NET, SQL-based validation and clear documentation. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with .NET testing frameworks, enjoys working in a highly visible role and is motivated by the opportunity to grow from a test-centric position into a broader software development role as the organization continues to modernize its applications and infrastructure.Why Join Us?Build our testing ecosystem from the ground up.Work on modernizing mission-critical applications.Collaborate with an experienced development team.Influence tools, processes and technical direction.Key ResponsibilitiesERP Test Development & ExecutionDesign, develop and maintain automated test suites for an in-house ERP application.Create test plans, test cases and regression suites.Implement automated testing frameworks using C# and .NET tools.Identify defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.Establish QA processes and best practices.Evaluate and implement testing tools.Build continuous testing pipelines.Document strategies and contribute to quality standards.Participate in the porting of legacy C# .NET Compact Framework apps to Android.Develop and execute test plans for Android apps.Provide feedback on app stability and compatibility.QualificationsRequired Skills & Experience:Experience with software testing (manual and automated).Proficiency in C# and .NET.Experience with automated test frameworks.Familiarity with Git, NUnit/xUnit/MSTest and defect tracking tools.Strong SQL experience is a must, as our systems primarily utilize an Oracle database.Preferred Skills:ERP system experience.Legacy app modernization experience.Soft Skills:Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.Able to work independently.Excellent communication and documentation skills.J-18808-Ljbffr
