This allows us to adapt with our customers and partners as needs evolve,leveraging our footprint to remain at your side while providing a highly personalized level ofservice and support no matter where you find yourself around the globe.Position overview:The Tool Maker is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, disassembling, repairing, andmodifying tool sets for Cold Heading and Roll formingMain responsibilities: Manufacture and fitting of plant and machinery subcontracted to the Toolroom. Project work as assigned by the Toolroom Foreman and Tooling Room Manager. Self-certification of work in accordance with the Quality and Continual Improvementcommitment. Submission of work for QA checking as required. To assist management and staff in the identification, and introduction of allreasonable measures to improve productivity, quality and working methods andconditions as part of the continual improvement and TQM programs. Perform necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment. Perform general cleanup, clerical, or maintenance work incidental to the operationof the tool crib. Observe safe work practices. Other duties as assigned. Good knowledge of machine shop and mechanical maintenance tools and theirrepair. Ability to read, understand and maintain records as required. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
