Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide services across multiple skilled nursing facilities in the LaGrange, GA area.Competitive compensation offered based on experience, along with strong opportunities for professional growth.Responsibilities:Manage and treat all wound care needs within assigned facilities, including cleaning and dressing woundsComplete admission documentation as requiredProvide guidance and support to residents and their familiesMonitor residents’ conditions and administer medications and treatmentsDocument care services accurately in medical and departmental recordsAdhere to infection control policies to ensure the safety of residents and staffAddress resident needs through collaboration with a multidisciplinary teamMaintain high standards of care in alignment with organizational protocolsEnsure confidentiality of resident information at all timesTrack infection control data and outcomesPrepare and submit regular reports, including monthly summariesQualifications:Active NP or PA license in the state of practiceExperience in long-term care preferredWound care and ostomy certification requiredStrong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsTeam-oriented with a positive and professional demeanorAbout the Organization:This organization was established to support skilled nursing facilities in delivering high-quality care to residents with increasing clinical complexity.
