*Job Overview* StartWeb7 is seeking a skilled Website Developer with 2+ years of professional experience to build responsive, professional websites for our clients. You'll develop landing pages, 10-page multi-page websites, and 15-page SEO-optimized websites based on provided project requirements, content, branding, and design direction. We're looking for someone who can independently take a website project from development through completion, produce high-quality work, meet project deadlines, and efficiently handle revisions based on client feedback. *About StartWeb7* StartWeb7 is a growing website development and SEO company that creates professional websites for businesses across a variety of industries. We're looking for a skilled Website Developer who can take project requirements, content, branding, and design direction and turn them into polished, responsive client websites. *What You'll Do* * Build client websites from start to finish * Develop responsive websites for desktop and mobile * Build landing pages, 10-page multi-page websites, and 15-page SEO-optimized websites * Turn provided project requirements and design direction into completed websites * Implement client content, images, branding, and other website assets * Create individual service, location, about, contact, and other pages based on project requirements * Implement provided SEO structure, keywords, page titles, headings, internal links, and other on-page SEO requirements when applicable * Make website revisions based on client feedback * Test websites across desktop and mobile screen sizes * Ensure websites are functional, responsive, and user-friendly * Optimize website performance * Troubleshoot and correct website issues * Maintain clean and organized project files and code * Manage multiple website tasks and meet established project deadlines *Types of Websites You'll Build* *Landing Pages* Focused single-page websites built around a client's business, service, offer, or campaign. *10-Page Multi-Page Websites* Complete business websites with separate pages for the client's services and other important business information. *15-Page SEO-Optimized Websites* Larger websites built according to an SEO strategy provided for the project, including targeted services, keywords, locations, page structure, and internal linking. What We're Looking For * *2+ years of professional web development experience* * Strong HTML and CSS skills * Working knowledge of JavaScript * Experience building responsive, mobile-friendly websites * Ability to build polished single-page and multi-page websites from start to finish * Strong understanding of website layout, spacing, typography, and responsive design * Strong attention to detail * Ability to accurately follow project requirements and design direction * Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment * Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines * Strong communication and organization skills * Basic understanding of on-page SEO * Ability to make revisions efficiently based on client feedback * *Portfolio or examples of previous website work required* *Schedule* This is a *fully remote, part-time position available to California-based applicants*. The position is *24 paid hours per week*, working *three days per week from 7:30 AM–4:30 PM*, with a *1-hour unpaid lunch break* each workday.
