Responsibilities: Provide emergency medical care to diverse patient populations in a busy EDOversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)Manage admissions, write orders, and coordinate care with consulting specialistsCover shifts of 8 or 12 hours, with a minimum of 5 shifts per month (preferably 8-10)Start as soon as credentialed, with a minimum commitment of 12 monthsRequired Skills and Qualifications: Valid medical license and board certification in Emergency MedicineProven experience in ED settings with strong clinical decision-making skillsAbility to independently manage a high volume of patientsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience overseeing APPs is preferredNice to Have Skills: Familiarity with All Scripts/Paragon EMR systemsPrevious experience in trauma-level hospitals or in fast-track ED environmentsAdditional certifications such as ACLS, ATLS, PALSPreferred Education and Experience: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)Minimum of 2 years of post-residency emergency medicine experiencePrior locum or hospital-based EM experience is advantageousOther Requirements: Availability for shifts starting March 7, 2026Ability to work flexible hours including nightsMust book all travel through designated providerNo overtime opportunitiesMedical staff fees will not be reimbursed; physician conversion fee capped at $18-$20KCompensation for this role is highly competitive at $273 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and additional perks including referral bonuses and licensure/travel reimbursements when applicable.
