Job Description SummaryDrives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function and interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesProcess tracking, metrics tracking. Responsible for headcount and various other data collections that are used for ultimate decision makingDesign, develop, and maintain operational dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to provide real-time visibility into organizational performanceBuild and manage data pipelines that consolidate data from multiple sources into clean, reliable, and actionable datasetsDevelop and validate analytical models to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reportingAutomate recurring reports and data workflows to reduce manual effort and improve reporting efficiencyEstablish and maintain data governance standards, including definitions, documentation, and version controlTranslate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholdersPerform root cause analysis on performance gaps and anomalies identified through dataDesign and track KPIs aligned to organizational goals, including threshold alerts and trend analysisConduct predictive and prescriptive analytics to support long-range planning and forecastingValidate and audit existing analytical outputs to ensure decision-grade quality and reliabilityPartner directly with senior operations leadership to align data strategy with organizational prioritiesSupport the development of KPI action plans, including defining targets, tracking mechanisms, and accountability structuresContribute to long-term strategic planning by providing data-driven scenario modeling and trend analysisIdentify opportunities for process improvement through data pattern recognition and benchmarkingPrepare executive-level presentations and data narratives that communicate findings clearly to diverse audiencesActs as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.Required Qualifications5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar experience2+ years of demonstrated experience supporting senior leadership with data-driven decision makingBachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or collegeDesired CharacteristicsPrior exposure to KPI framework development and strategic planning supportStrong oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.Established project management skills.Experience in an operations-heavy or large-scale organizational environment preferredExperience with large data modelsExperience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data management and visualization softwareExperience with data querying, including SQL, Python, etcThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
