Temporary -General Bottling Operator

General OperatorHours: Monday- Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm possible overtime on FridayPosition Purpose:The General Operator performs non-technical tasks for Bottling. These tasks can include, but are not limited to glass uncasing, hand corking, shrink-sleeving, case erecting, hang-tagging, palletizing, re-working, label writing, cardboard bailing and cleaning.Core ResponsibilitiesPerform various tasks as described by the Bottling Supervisor or other Management personnel.Maintain a clean work area.Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP's).Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequirementsHigh school degree or equivalent education preferred.Able to follow directions.Able to work physically close to other employees.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsFast paced, warehouse and industrial environment.Exposure to hazardous materials such as alcohol and chemicals, loud noise, and moderate heat/cold.Essential physical requirements, such as frequent climbing, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching and lifting, occasionally above shoulders.Physical effort/lifting up to 50 pounds.Some overtime required.Able to stand and walk all day with minimal breaks.Able to lift, carry and pull 50 pounds or less.Able to kneel, squat, bend, and climb.Able to work around alcohol and other flammable liquids.Able to visually inspect products.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
