Job DescriptionGHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Cheyenne, Wyoming.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: OncologyDiscipline: RNStart Date: 06/15/2026Duration: 1 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelEstimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2290.72\n\nOpportunity:\nRN - Medical Unit\n\nJob Details:\n• Work 12-hour night shifts starting at 6:45 PM (18:45)\n• Block scheduling available with preference for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday night shifts\n• Self-scheduling permitted through Kronos system\n• Every other weekend requirement (4 weekend shifts per month) - weekends are Friday and Saturday nights\n• Weekend requirement waived if working Sunday, Monday, Tuesday block schedule\n• Nurse-to-patient ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6\n• 24-bed unit with all private rooms\n• Float to inpatient units including telemetry, surgical, orthopedic, neurology, and medical units\n• Care for medical patients including COPD, psych, detox, oncologic emergencies, blood transfusions, failure to thrive cases\n• Required to titrate drips including Heparin and Fentanyl (not required to do chemotherapy)\n• 1 year of nursing experience required\n• Required certifications: BLS and RQI (completed during orientation)\n• 3-day orientation with preceptor\n• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs, professional appearance\n• Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from facility location\n• On-call requirements possible for low census situations\n• Holiday flexibility preferred\n• 2 cancellations allowed per 13-week assignment\n• Epic charting system experience preferred but not required\n\nFacility:\nThis acute care facility features a 24-bed medical unit with all private rooms and maintains a Level 2 trauma designation.
