IT Project/Program Manager

Education & Experience Required: · Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. · PMI or PMP certification preferred. · 7+ years of relevant experience required. Technical Skills (Required) · Highly effective communication skills, including Sponsor & Stakeholder management. · Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, technical project teams. · Demonstrated ability to resolve complex project management issues in a timely manner. · Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies used to implement system changes. · Demonstrated knowledge of the finance industry and experience in technical project implementation. · Demonstrated ability to build consensus in cross-functional teams. · Demonstrated ability to create and maintain an environment conducive to collaboration across corporate business units and service divisions. · Demonstrated ability to work independently. · Demonstrated ability to lead change. · Proficiency with MS Project. (Preferred) · PMI or PMP certification; experience with projects where Oracle is part of the technical landscape; project management experience in large, matrixed organizations. Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday Experience: Microsoft Project: 6 years (Required) Oracle: 5 years (Preferred) Project management: 8 years (Required) License/Certification: PMI or PMP (Preferred) Work Location: In person
