Lab System Engineer

IT Lab Computing Support SpecialistDuration : 12 Months Bothell, WA | 100% OnsiteSchedule: Initially 8 AM–4 PM, transitioning through training to an eventual 3 PM–11 PM shift.We are looking for an experienced GMP Lab Computing / IT professional to support laboratory computing systems and technologies within a highly regulated environment.This role is responsible for the reliable, compliant, and lifecycle management of laboratory computerized systems, applications, workstations, instruments, interfaces, and supporting infrastructure. Key Responsibilities• Provide senior-level technical support for GMP laboratory systems• Troubleshoot complex technical and system issues• Support system implementation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and retirement• Manage change control, risk assessments, testing, and verification• Support CSV/CSA and validation/qualification activities• Ensure GMP, data integrity, and Good Documentation Practices• Support incident investigations, deviations, root-cause analysis, and CAPA• Maintain accurate technical documentation and system records• Collaborate with Quality, Laboratory Operations, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and vendors• Mentor technical staff and drive continuous improvementIdeal Background• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field• Strong experience with laboratory computing / computerized laboratory systems• Experience working in a GMP/GxP-regulated environment• Knowledge of CSV/CSA, change control, data integrity, and validation• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills• Experience supporting laboratory instruments, applications, infrastructure, or interfaces• Excellent communication and documentation skills
