Our teams play an essential role in building lasting patient relationships through education, compassion, teamwork, and exceptional care.Reporting RelationshipReports to the Practice ManagerScheduleFull Time including one (1) Saturday per monthOffice LocationGentle Dental Washington10300 SE Washington St.Suite C101Portland, OR 97216Position ResponsibilitiesSupport and guide the front office team in completing daily responsibilities, maintaining accountability, and following office standardsAssist with monitoring and improving provider schedules to support productivity and patient accessHelp identify opportunities to fill open schedule time and minimize gaps or cancellationsMaintain clear and professional communication with providers regarding scheduling updates, patient needs, and operational concernsSupport patient experience by assisting with patient questions, concerns, and service recovery when neededEnsure patients receive timely, friendly, and professional communication both in person and over the phoneAssist with training and onboarding new front office team members on office processes and expectationsHelp maintain accurate patient records, scheduling, and insurance informationWork collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to support smooth daily operations and a positive office cultureSupport the Practice Manager in implementing office goals, workflows, and operational initiativesMonitor front office workflows to ensure efficiency, organization, and exceptional customer serviceAssist in managing daily patient flow and problem-solving operational challenges as they arisePromote professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care within the office environmentHelp ensure compliance with company policies, HIPAA regulations, and office proceduresRequired QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of dental experience requiredPrevious leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferredStrong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsCommitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer serviceBilingual skills are a plusWhy Join Gentle Dental?At Gentle Dental, we invest in our people and create opportunities for career growth, development, and long-term success.
