Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled security-focused engineer to lead the security of our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and corporate IT environment. This full-time, permanent role involves safeguarding our full technology stack—ranging from cloud-native web applications and blockchain infrastructure to bare-metal deployments in remote data centers. The successful candidate will ensure our systems remain secure, resilient, and compliant across all operational areas, supporting the growth of our expanding security team.RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in DevOps, Security, or Infrastructure EngineeringDeep proficiency in administering Linux-based systemsStrong understanding of cloud security best practices (GCP and Vercel experience preferred)Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and scripting languages (Python, Bash)Familiarity with security tools such as SAST, DAST, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and supply chain security practicesKnowledge of IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust security modelsExperience working within Agile teams and using tools like JIRAStrong analytical, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and collaborativelySecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP, AWS/Azure Security are a plusResponsibilitiesSecure and maintain remote data center node deployments, including SSH hardening, VPN management, and OS patchingManage and harden cloud resources on GCP and Vercel, with rigorous IAM policies and VPC controlsWrite and maintain custom Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules to protect web assets and APIsImplement monitoring and alerting systems to detect suspicious on-chain activity and protect blockchain infrastructureSecure blockchain nodes and explorers ensuring high availability and endpoint protectionAdminister and secure corporate workspaces and endpoint devices, enforcing MFA, SSO, and least-privilege accessMonitor software dependencies, triage security alerts, and support development with cloud security hardeningConduct security assessments for new network deployments and featuresBenefitsOpportunity to grow within a expanding security teamEngaging and innovative project environment centered around security engineeringCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package#ZR-PRO#DICE
