Director, Project Management - Remote

Position Overview Summit Ventures is seeking a highly capable and hands-on Director of IT to lead and optimize the firm's technology infrastructure. The Director of IT is a hands-on role responsible for leading and optimizing the firm's technology infrastructure. This role combines IT administration, systems ownership, and project management, ensuring that all core platforms are aligned, integrated, and operating efficiently to support the company's investment, development, and operational activities.The Director of IT serves as the central point of accountability for all technology systems—managing internal needs, overseeing third-party vendors, and driving key technology initiatives that enhance scalability, reporting, and overall performance.Key Responsibilities & DutiesEnterprise Systems Ownership:Oversee Salesforce (CRM), Microsoft 365 / Teams, Sage Intacct (ERP), HubSpot Marketing Hub, and other systemsEnsure seamless integrations and data flowIdentify automation and workflow improvementsEvaluate and select infrastructure hardware and software, and ensure procurement aligns with technical architecture roadmapProactively identify aging systems and other areas that need updates and create business case accordinglyVendor & Partner Management:Manage third-party administrators and consultantsDefine priorities, timelines, and accountabilityEvaluate vendor performanceProject Leadership & Execution:Lead system implementations, upgrades, and integrationsCollaborate across departmentsDeliver projects on time and within scopeLead Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans within IT, ensuring that critical business systems are identified and each system has robust disaster recovery plans in place. Conduct annual Disaster Recovery test and provide results to senior leadership, including remediation planning.IT Operations & Governance:Oversee IT support and system performanceMaintain security, access controls, and data integrityDevelop policies and ensure business continuityStrategic Technology Leadership:Align IT strategy with company growthRecommend new technologiesReport on performance and initiativesRequired Experience~ Bachelor's Degree in computer science or technical field or equivalent experience~7+ years of experience in IT management or related fields~ Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft 365/Teams, Sage Intacct, and HubSpot~ Vendor management experience~ Strong project management and communication skills~ Ability to work both strategically and hands-on~ High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively~ Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines~ Quick learner and displays initiative~ Team player with a positive attitudePreferred QualificationsExperience in real estate, private equity, or investment managementFamiliarity with financial systems and reportingPMP or equivalent certification is a plusExperience with business intelligence toolsCompensation: $120-$140k Base + BonusCompetitive Benefits Package
