Understanding of documentation standards.Knowledge of equipment, supplies and materials needed for medical treatment.Understanding of basic laboratory procedures including preparation and screening.Knowledge of infectious disease management and control and safety standards.SkillsHave strong communication and interpersonal skillsBe proficient with computersAbilitiesAbility to use manual dexterity to perform medical treatments.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and diverse patient populations.Ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug dosages.QualificationsCurrent LPN or RN license.AllScripts EMR experience preferred.Clinic experienceHave at least two years IV experiencePhysical RequirementsAbility to work effectively in a fast paced environment.Physical ability to sit, perform data entry and view computer screen for long periods at a time.Daily standing, walking, bending, and maneuvering.May require lifting up to 50 pounds or more to transfer and/or turn patient with and without assistive devices.Environmental ConditionsOccasional exposure to communicable diseases and biohazards.This is a safety sensitive position.Travel RequirementsTravel may be required.Scheduled Working HoursNormal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
