Customer Service Logistics Planner
The Customer Service Logistics Planner contributes to the success of the organization by supporting customers and other departments. This person handles transactions, organizing shipments and acts as liaison between customers and various departments of the organization.Qualified candidates will have the proven ability to work well with other personnel and departments, and deal with customers concerning matters that require tact and resourcefulness. The qualified candidate must also pay close attention to detail, fully proofreading his or her own work as well as the work of others.QualificationsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Experience with data entry Proficiency in Microsoft Office/ WindowsDetail orientedProofreading skillsResponsibilities IncludeResponding to shipping questionsResponding to clerical questionsResponding to technical questions, forwarding to engineering, sales, and field technicians.Entering order requirements and sending order receipts for orders created by Field Account ManagersActing as a liaison between customers and internal departments Exporting forms, sending to customers as well as monitoring and following up as needed.Processing change ordersHandling shipping issuesForwarding customer complaints to salesKnowledge of different shipping carriersFiling claims with carriers/freight forwardersMonitoring and Tracking orders to ensure timely deliveriesCreating accurate shipping documentation to support smooth deliveries and cross-border movementsMaintaining detail records of customer interactions to support sales and compliance visibilityCoordinating with the Packaging department effectively regarding customer requestsThis description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
