Based in the greater NYC metro area, the firm supports major data center operators, technology companies, and commercial real estate clients with complex systems design, integration, and commissioning services. As the company continues to expand its data center engineering practice, they are seeking a skilled Team Lead BMS/EPMS Engineer to take on a leadership role and drive high?visibility projects while mentoring junior team members.Your new roleLead and oversee BMS/EPMS design projects for large?scale data centersTrain and support junior Associates and Controls DesignersSelect equipment and prepare detailed technical reportsAttend project meetings and coordinate directly with clients and vendorsPerform QA/QC reviews to ensure high?quality deliverablesMaintain and update data processes, templates, and engineering standardsProduce plans, drawings, and technical documentationDevelop sequences of operations and controls narrativesDraft control process diagrams, P&IDs, and instrumentation documentsCreate control panel layouts and network architecture designs aligned with client specificationsPrepare controls bench testing scripts and validate system performanceReview and approve submittal packages and shop drawingsPrepare specifications for control systems and support implementation activitiesProvide subject?matter expertise throughout commissioning and integration phasesWhat you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline7-10+ years of experience in BMS/EPMS design or controls engineeringStrong knowledge of data center cooling systemsStrong understanding of BMS/EPMS/DCIM/SCADA systems as applied to HVAC and data center environmentsProficiency interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and facility layoutsAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects with high attention to detailExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non?technical stakeholdersFamiliarity with industry standards applicable to data center designPreferred: Engineer?in?Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) licenseWhat you'll get in returnCompetitive salary based on experience ($120,000-$180,000)Opportunities for professional development, certification, and advancementA collaborative, innovative working environmentComprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and additional company perksFlexible work options, in?office or remote depending on project needs (in?office preferred)What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this Team Lead BMS/EPMS Engineer role, click apply now to submit your most recent resume, or call us directly.
