The people we hire have immediate impact.The RoleWe are adding an Account Executive focused on the commercial real estate vertical. You will own the full sales cycle for CRE-oriented institutions: REITs, real estate private equity funds, real estate debt managers, and traditional asset managers, retailers and corporations with significant real estate allocations.This is a consultative, enterprise sales role. Your buyers are analysts, portfolio managers, and research directors who evaluate data products rigorously. You will need to understand their workflows, articulate how Advan's foot traffic signals translate to investment-grade intelligence, and close multi-year data licensing agreements.What You Will DoBuild and manage a pipeline of CRE-focused institutional prospects through outbound prospecting, conference presence, and referral developmentRun discovery conversations to understand how prospective clients currently underwrite property performance, monitor tenants, and evaluate trade areasConduct product demonstrations for Advan's real estate data products (including REveal, REI, Patterns+) tailored to each firm's investment strategy and asset focusDevelop and deliver pricing proposals and contract negotiations for multi-seat data licensing agreementsCoordinate with internal data and research teams to support technical diligence, custom data pulls, and proof-of-concept evaluationsMaintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity records in PipedriveRepresent Advan at industry conferences (ICSC, NAREIT, NRF, and similar)Provide structured feedback to product and data teams on buyer objections, feature gaps, and competitive intelligenceWhat We are Looking For4+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years selling data, analytics, or research products to institutional buyers in real estate or an adjacent sectorFamiliarity with how CRE professionals use data: property-level traffic analysis, tenant health monitoring, trade area evaluation, portfolio surveillanceComfort presenting to investment professionals; you can hold a conversation about cap rates, CMBS, NOI trends, and retail occupancy without being redirectedExperience closing complex data licensing agreements with multiple stakeholders and legal review cyclesStrong prospecting discipline; you build your own pipeline rather than waiting for inboundCRM hygiene; you keep deal stages, notes, and forecast accurate as a matter of habitCompensationBase salary plus commission. We will discuss structure during our conversation. Total compensation range: $100,000 - $250,000, commensurate with experience.
