Production Intern (Activewear Import & Manufacturing)

Job Description Job Type: Full-time InternshipDuration: 24 weeksSchedule: 40 hours/week (Mon–Fri)Compensation: Paid internship (hourly; at least minimum wage, based on experience)Location: New York, NY (on-site) Role OverviewAs a Production Intern, you'll support the production team in managing overseas orders, coordinating with suppliers, tracking samples, and helping ensure products meet quality and delivery standards. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants hands-on exposure to apparel manufacturing, import processes, and supply chain coordination. What You'll DoAssist with production tracking and order management across multiple overseas vendorsPerform data entry and updates in our ERP system (POs, sample status, approvals, shipment details, etc.)Create and organize bulk color cards and lab dips (L/D) for color approval workflowsLog, organize, and track sample submissions from factories (fit samples, PP samples, TOPs, etc.)Support the team with daily coordination (follow-ups, status checks, internal reporting)Help prepare and assemble sample packages for internal teams, buyers, and vendorsCoordinate occasional local sample drop-offs/pickups as needed What We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion/Apparel, Textiles, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail, organization, and follow-throughAble to multitask and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentClear, professional communication and teamwork skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google SheetsStrong interest in activewear and apparel production/manufacturing Nice to Have (Not Required)Internship or coursework exposure to apparel production, sourcing, imports, or quality controlFamiliarity with ERP/PLM systemsComfort coordinating with overseas partners across time zones Why This InternshipYou'll gain practical experience in production coordination, sample tracking, vendor communication, and the end-to-end workflow of importing and manufacturing activewear.
