Opportunities
Fitchburg established team of 2 physicians and 1 Advanced Practitioner
Practice outpatient medicine in an established, well‑known clinic
Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
Experienced clinical and non‑clinical staff who know the patients and the community
Full‑time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
24/7 hospitalist program responsible for adult inpatients
Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities
Average of 17‑20 patients per day; no nights or weekends (Extended clinic hours 7 AM‑5:30 PM)
1.0 FTE = 36 patient contact hours per week + administrative time
Shared call among providers; phone call only – triaged through MyNurse line
Work as a team member to improve the health of patients and communities we serve
Perform general procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, etc.
Evaluate, interpret, and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
Patient‑focused, friendly, and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Wisconsin
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as required by the physician’s field of practice
Eligible to work in the United States (H1‑B cap exempt)
