Electrical Assembler

Electrical AssemblerFor over 50 years, BETA Fueling Systems in Reidsville, NC has led the aviation industry in the manufacture of reliable and safe refueling equipment. Everything we do is focused on improving the reliability, after sales support, and on-time delivery of equipment.The Electrical Assembler will assemble or modify electronic equipment, such as electrical control boxes and pc boards per blueprints and specifications. Our Electrical Assemblers work in a team environment but are also required to perform duties autonomously and with a quality first focus. Work hours are Monday Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm with occasional overtime required and occasional Saturday.Job Duties:Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, solderingAdjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specificationsClean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and clothsRead and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructionsPosition, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assemblyConfer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workersFabricate or form parts, coils, or structures according to specifications, using drills, calipers, cutters, or sawsDrill or tap holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or to provide openings for elements, wiring, or instrumentsEducation and Experience Required:High School Diploma or GED preferredTechnical or vocational degrees or certificates in electrical systems and components preferredAutomotive diagnostic and repair experience preferredExperience with automotive or aviation fueling systems a plusBasic electrical knowledge on wiring, routing, connecting, and testing electrical equipmentAbility to use hand and power tools, soldering equipment, precision measuring tools and equipment, voltmeter, ammeter, or ohmmeterFamiliar with industrial safety environment and use of common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes, welding helmet, glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and hard hats (BETA will provide or reimburse)Physical Requirements using hands to handle, control or feel objects and tools, ability to read written instructions, lift and/or move materials up to 50 pounds independentlyBETA offers paid time off, 9 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term and long-term disability insurance.
