Team members join a long-established, locally rooted organization with deep expertise in property management and resident service.Role Description The Onsite Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Los Angeles, CA, 90057 responsible for the day-to-day operations of a multifamily residential property. This role oversees leasing activities, including showing units, screening prospective residents, preparing lease documents, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs. The Onsite Property Manager handles resident relations by responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, enforcing community policies, and fostering a respectful, service-oriented living environment. Daily responsibilities include coordinating maintenance requests, conducting regular property inspections, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards, and partnering with vendors as needed. The position also manages rent collection, basic bookkeeping, reporting occupancy and financial data, and collaborating with the corporate office to support budget, compliance, and property performance goals.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in residential property management, leasing, or a closely related field, ideally within multifamily communities.Strong customer service and resident relations skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, concerns, and conflicts in a professional, solutions-focused manner.Solid administrative, organizational, and time-management abilities, including managing records, schedules, and multiple priorities with attention to detail.Basic financial and reporting skills, such as rent collection, invoice processing, and tracking occupancy, with comfort using property management or accounting software.Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with residents, vendors, and internal teams.Strong proficiency with common office technology, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and property management software such as Yardi Voyager and RentCafe.Ability to work on-site full time in Los Angeles including weekends as operational needs require.Knowledge of fair housing laws, leasing regulations, and standard property management practices; prior experience in the Los Angeles market is a plus.Relevant property management experience and professional certifications are preferred.
