Strong field crews, a deep and loyal book of business, professional estimating support, and an owner who drives sales. What we need is an operator who runs everything else. THE ROLE: Full operational ownership from day one. You run production, enforce processes, hold the team accountable, and protect margins as we scale. The owner stays in sales. You own execution. Own scheduling, production, materials, and billing through the teamEnforce SOPs and eliminate the recurring office and coordination errors that erode job-level marginTrack gross margin and net margin on every job — act on every varianceCoach and develop the Operations Manager into a General Manager within six monthsBuild the KPI discipline that makes the business run without you in every detail WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:30 days: Workflow mapped, recent jobs reviewed, root causes of top operational failures identified, weekly production and KPI meetings running90 days: Pre-job planning enforced, billing discipline consistent, team accountability clear, gross margin protected at higher volume180 days: Operations Manager functioning as General Manager. When you stabilize operations and develop the GM — targeted at six months, milestone-dependent — you transition to COO.
