They are a stable award winning contractor with a strong reputation in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.Job DescriptionManage all aspects of the construction project, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.Oversee the work of all subcontractors and trades, ensuring that they adhere to project specifications and quality standards.Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure that project goals are achieved.Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project requirements are met.Conduct regular site visits to ensure that all work is being performed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with all safety regulations.Maintain accurate and complete project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.Ensure that all project close-out activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.Foster a culture of safety on the job site, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety regulations and policies.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantMinimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with a focus on large new construction projects valued at over 30 million, preferably with wood-frame structures.Experience with multifamily, senior living, and commercial projects is highly preferred.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.In-depth knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and best practices.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.OSHA 30 certification is required.Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is preferred.What's on OfferOur employee-owned general contracting company offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
