This position is responsible for administrating network maintenance, network security, devices, software and hardware related to the Local Area Network and Wide Area Network connecting to the network. The Network Administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. From safeguarding systems with top-tier security measures to overseeing network upgrades and empowering users through training, this position goes far beyond IT support—it's the central link that holds our operations together. Success in this role requires deep technical knowledge across a wide range of hardware, software, and systems, enabling the administrator to propel client organization into the future.Essential Functions:Network Setup & MaintenanceInstall, configure, and manage network hardware (routers, switches, access points, firewalls)Maintain LANs, WANs, VPNs, and other network segmentsMonitor network performance and ensure optimal uptimeParticipate in disaster recovery and business continuity operationsSecurity & Access ControlImplement and manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systemsControl user access, authentication, and permissionsConduct regular security audits and apply patchesParticipating in Cyber Security Projects and Initiatives.Troubleshooting & Support:Diagnose/resolve network & helpdesk issuesProvide technical support to users and IT teamsMaintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams and incidentsPerformance OptimizationAnalyze traffic and usage patterns to improve efficiencyUpgrade systems and recommend improvementsDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate records of network infrastructure and changesEnsure compliance with organizational and regulatory standardsAssist in planning for network expansion and scalability.Required Skills:5-12 years of experience in a network administrator roleProven skills in network operations and performance analysisStrong communication skills for training and assisting users.Preferred Skills:FortiNet Certified Associate or higher4 year degree in Information TechnologyArista ACE Level 2 or higherArubaOS
