Construction Data Processor
Position Summary
The Construction Site Data Processor is responsible for collecting, validating, and entering field data from active construction sites into the company’s systems. This role ensures that daily production, labor, equipment, material usage, and safety information are accurately recorded and available for project management, accounting, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Collect daily data from foremen and supervisors, including manpower counts, time sheets, equipment hours, material deliveries/usage, production quantities, and site conditions.
Enter and update data in project management, ERP, or other tracking systems with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
Review submitted field reports for completeness, resolve discrepancies, and follow up with site personnel to clarify missing or inconsistent information.
Maintain logs and trackers for production quantities, change orders, RFIs, inspections, punch lists, and other site‑related records.
Support creation of daily reports, weekly progress summaries, and dashboards for project managers and leadership.
Assist with coding costs to the correct jobs, cost codes, and phases in coordination with project management and accounting.
Organize and maintain digital and physical files, including drawings, specifications, submittals, inspection reports, and test results.
Help ensure data from field technology (e.g., tablets, mobile apps, scanners) is synchronized and correctly mapped into company systems.
Run routine data quality checks and highlight trends, anomalies, or issues (e.g., unusual productivity changes, missing entries).
Support ad hoc reporting and data pulls needed for schedule updates, client reporting, and internal reviews.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or coursework in construction management, business, or a related field preferred.
Experience in construction administration, field office coordination, data entry, or a similar role is strongly preferred.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and familiarity with construction/project management or ERP systems (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, Acumatica, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to interpret basic construction documents, daily reports, and timesheets.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with field supervisors, project managers, and office staff.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Skills/Qualifications:Organization, Typing, high-level data entry skills, Attention to detail, Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Manufacturing and/or Construction background a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel & Word
Physical requirements - Sit for extended lengths of time, lift 10-15 lbs, operate computer. Walk and stand on uneven surfaces when assisting with inventory.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
