📍 Location: On-site – Austin, TX Based, USA | Multiple Positions📌 Employment Type: Full-Time | Long-Term ContractAbout the Role:We are looking for skilled RF Drive Test Engineers to support ongoing 4G/5G network testing and optimisation activities in Austin, Texas. This field-based role involves extensive drive testing, analysis of device-to-network communication, and troubleshooting of swap sectors, handovers, and dropped calls. Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders (USC/GC). Key Responsibilities: Conduct 4G/5G drive tests using tools like XCAL, TEMS, and NEMO.Analyse call flows between mobile devices and the network to identify issues.Investigate and troubleshoot handovers, swap sectors, and dropped calls.Perform E911 and walk testing for location accuracy and coverage validation.Use GPS navigation to access designated test routes and locations.Address and resolve customer-reported network complaints through field testing.Document test results and escalate network performance issues when needed.Requirements:7+ years of experience in RF Optimisation, including LTE/5G networks.Proven experience with RF drive testing using tools like XCAL, TEMS, or NEMO.Strong understanding of IP, TCP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6, and wireless protocols.Ability to analyse device logs and call flow patterns.Experience resolving swap sector issues, handover failures, and E911-related field problems.Familiarity with operator standards for wireless network testing and reporting.Valid U.S. driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Austin area.Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (USC/GC).
