With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.This role will focus on [risk management, client servicing, claims support, sales growth, underwriting, analytics, etc.] and collaborate with [producers, account managers, carriers, clients, internal operations teams].Why Alera GroupMeaningful Impact - Help clients and employees navigate benefits programs that drive retention, engagement, and satisfactionGrowth & Learning - Opportunities to deepen your expertise and gain exposure to a variety of clients and industriesCollaborative Culture - Work in a team-oriented environment that values accountability, partnership, and the principles of The Collaborative WayResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do / Your ImpactClient Partnership & Risk StrategyServe as executive‑level relationship manager for key and high‑revenue P&C clientsParticipate in client strategy meetings, stewardship reviews, and renewal presentationsProvide strategic oversight for complex placements, coverage structuring, and program designAct as escalation point for service, placement, or claims‑related issues on major accountsCollaborate with Producers to identify cross‑sell, upsell, and program restructuring opportunitiesOperational ExcellenceLead, mentor, and develop high‑performing client service teams, including Account Managers, Account Executives, and support staffEstablish and enforce service standards, workflows, and best practices across the P&C bookOversee renewal processes to ensure timely, accurate, and competitive program deliveryOptimize workflows, team utilization, and service models to improve efficiency and scalabilityImplement and maintain standard operating procedures and service frameworksPartner with leadership on technology adoption, including agency management systems and client‑facing toolsStrategic ContributionChampion a best‑in‑class claims advocacy approach and integrate risk management services into client strategiesPartner with internal risk management and loss control teams to deliver measurable value‑added outcomesMaintain accountability for client retention, revenue growth, and profitability across the P&C portfolioSupport budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the client service organizationMonitor key performance indicators including retention, service responsiveness, and client satisfactionQualificationsWhat You BringRequired8+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance brokerage or consultingProven leadership experience managing client service teamsDeep expertise across P&C lines including Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Property, Auto, and Umbrella/ExcessDemonstrated experience handling large, complex, and multi‑layered insurance programsStrong understanding of claims advocacy, loss trends, and risk management strategiesExcellent communication skills and executive presence with the ability to engage C‑suite clientsActive Property & Casualty insurance licensePreferredExperience supporting national or multi‑location client portfoliosStrong background partnering with Producers on growth and retention strategiesCore CompetenciesStrategic thinking and problem solvingClient advocacy and relationship managementLeadership and team developmentOperational execution and process improvementCarrier negotiation and market strategyFinancial acumen and revenue managementAdditional InformationCompensation -Salary range - $175,000 – $200,000 per yearBenefits -Alera Group offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, 401(k), generous PTO, and more.Work Model -This role is HybridProfessional Development – Alera Group AcademyAt Alera Group, growth isn’t left to chance.
