Embedded Software Test Supervisor

Job Location: 5559 Inwood Drive, Columbus, IN 47201 Job Title: Embedded Software Test Supervisor Job Duties: Toyota Material Handling, Inc. seeks an Embedded Software Test Supervisor in Columbus, Indiana to manage team of approximately 6 test engineers and technicians. Create Test Strategy and Plans using system requirements to validate quality and robustness of firmware system. Review and approve proposed testing methods to ensure technical correctness of approach used to verify system functions. Create Detailed Test Reports used to document outcomes of testing campaigns. Create and manage test schedule to deliverable project deliverables on time. Interact with internal and external customers in a customer-centric manner. Teach and train test technicians. Utilize C++ on embedded Linux and C on bare-metal platforms. Test software using black box, white box, and grey box testing approaches. Utilize embedded debugging tools. Apply source control systems. May work from home up to two days per week. Minimum Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and two years (or Bachelor’s degree followed by 5 progressive years) of embedded systems experience. Must have two years of experience with each of the following: (1) development experience with C++ on embedded Linux or C on bare-metal platforms; (2) software testing concepts including black box, white box, and grey box testing approaches; (3) embedded debugging tools including JTAG programmers, multimeters, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and LabView Data acquisition systems; and (4) source control configuration management using git and SharePoint; (5) Linux Command Line (6) Wi-Fi & Cellular network configuration. Master’s degree and two years of experience may be gained concurrently. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
