This role involves working collaboratively with behavioral specialists and educators to implement structured behavior intervention strategies that promote student growth, independence, and success in the classroom.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBAProvide one-on-one and small group behavioral support to studentsAccurately collect, track, and document behavioral data and student progressAssist in maintaining a structured, positive, and supportive classroom environmentSupport students' social, emotional, and academic developmentCollaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providersUtilize de-escalation techniques and assist with crisis intervention when necessaryMaintain strict confidentiality in accordance with applicable regulations and policiesAdhere to school policies, safety procedures, and established behavior protocolsParticipate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional developmentQualificationsActive Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)Minimum 1 year of school-based experience (required)CPI certification (or willingness to obtain upon onboarding)Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies and techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively support children and adolescentsDemonstrated patience, empathy, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environmentFor more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
