Employee Early Morning Refer Box Truck Driver Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday -Saturday

Shift availability: Sunday-Wednesday 1am-10am with alternating Wednesdays and Wednesdays to Saturday.Pay $21. hrly. Plus, benefits.Courier Connection is looking for an early morning refer box truck route driver. As a Courier Connection Driver, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely deliveries to customers on assigned routes and contributing to customers’ experiences. You will work directly with our customers, establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with them, ensuring quality from origin to destination. Come driver with us and experience the impact of serving community businesses and your fellow employees.Position Responsibilities:Preforming pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded productMaintaining daily electronic driving logsmaintaining accurate refrigerated temperature controlsDrive to destinations as outlined in the manifest, in a safe, responsible manner and in compliance with all state laws and transportation regulationsNotifying Customer Service with any route changes, time delays, and non-delivered ordersChecking-in with customers at each designated account and serving as a Courier Connection representativeUnloading and delivering product to assigned area within account as directed by the customerSubmitting customer paperwork to appropriate personnel in a timely mannerPerforming other tasks and duties as assignedSkills & Experiences:Current GA State License, DOT physical card, and safe driving recordCommitment to quality customer service by utilizing excellent communication skillsAbility to read, write, and communicate information accuratelyAbility to operate computer and software programs and equipmentStrong attention to detail and willingness to follow all established procedures and regulationsFlexibility to work extended hours as needed is preferredMust have at least 1 year of box truck experience.
