Manufacturing Assembly Operator
*Schedule:* Monday–Thursday 4 am - 2:30 pm
*Location:* 100% Onsite
*Hours:* 40 hours/week + overtime as needed
*Environment:* ESD Manufacturing Environment — *Not a Clean Room*
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented *Manufacturing Assembly Operator* to support the production of high-quality medical devices and capital equipment. This role involves assembly, packaging, repair, and testing of equipment similar to computers and generators while following established manufacturing and quality procedures.
Responsibilities
* Perform assembly, packaging, repair, and testing operations.
* Follow written procedures, work instructions, and verbal directions.
* Handle small components and parts with care and attention to detail.
* Maintain accurate production, traveler, and quality documentation.
* Ensure parts are properly documented and traceable.
* Use computer software, electronic data collection systems, and ERP systems as required.
* Follow safety, ESD, quality, QMS, and regulatory requirements.
* Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Communicate problems, ideas, and solutions clearly with team members and management.
* Prioritize assigned work and meet production and quality goals.
* Maintain a professional and positive attitude with coworkers, management, and visitors.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Manufacturing, production, assembly, or similar experience.
* Ability to communicate effectively in *English, both written and verbal*.
* Ability to recognize and distinguish colors.
* Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
* Basic computer skills; *ERP experience preferred*.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work 40 hours Monday–Friday with reliable attendance.
* *No absences during the first 30 days.*
* Ability to work overtime as production needs vary.
* Medical device, electronics, capital equipment, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
* Basic Lean Manufacturing knowledge preferred.
Important Work Environment & Dress Requirements
This is an *ESD manufacturing environment, NOT a clean room*.
Production areas require clean, tightly woven, non-shedding clothing. No fleece, loose-knit materials, frayed clothing, glitter, sequins, tassels, or loose threads. Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes are required, with heels no higher than 2 inches. Socks or stockings are required. Clothing must cover the torso, upper arms, and legs. Loose-fitting clothing and scented personal products are not permitted.
