RENK America is driven by this sense of pride and purpose in our country and our community.DescriptionDescription:Operate machines such as CNC and/or manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and gear cutting machines depending on expertise on specific equipment.Set up machine as appropriate to machine specifications.Operate machines according to processes provided in the manufacturing of components.Use and interpret precision measuring instruments/gauges such as micrometers and calipersAny other duties assigned by ManagementPosition RequirementsQualifications/Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentMust be able to read orders and work instructionsMust be able to read and understand processes and process drawingsMust have mechanical skillsMust be able to lift and handle heavy parts using overhead cranes and other material handling equipment and must be able to bend and liftWalking, standing, lifting, stooping, reachingPhysical demand to make setup and perform machining operationsMay work in tight and/or cramped spacesSome lifting of various weights, both assisted and unassistedUse cranes or other device for heavy liftingMust be able to obtain Security Clearance.Preferred Additional Skills:2+ Years of experience in machiningFamiliar with face milling, reaming, boring, and line boring (specific to Milling)Familiar with steady rest and tailstock (specific to Turning)Ability to read and edit programs using Fagor or Fanuc controlsFamiliar with G-CodeFull-Time/Part-TimeFull-TimeExempt/Non-ExemptNon-ExemptEOE Statement
